good wed morning

good morning cali friends ,
if i remember right today is weigh in day... i'm happy to report that i've lost 3lbs this week... i'm 197 i'm so happy the weight is finally coming off..
so i'm gonna ask can anyone tell me what happened to janine? is she on vacation? i've been gone for a while and just wondering .. i miss her shout outs..
today i have my yr out surgen appt... i've been real sick this month . but finally feeling better.. i may have had a kidney stone but by time they took the test for it it was done... man it was painful... and i thought it was back pain .. but i was wrong.. well that's it for me today.. i hope everyone has a great day...

Good morning Lisa and Cali!

Yup yup yup . .. today is weight in day . . . give us your numbers (You had a grand one Lisa!) whether they be up or down . . . For the new people, we are tracking our combined weight loss for the year . . . hoping to reach 1 TON lost . . . and then we announce the results on Thursday morning - so jump right in . . . you are not judged for losses or gains . . . and I can finally say I'm down 2 lbs this week too!  (FINALLY the right direction).  I did get one of those Costco scales and I'm very happy with it . . . thanks Rick for the advice.

Yesterday I went from the dentist, to my PCP, to workmen's comp for my hands . . . and finally got out of there at 5:15 last night . . . with a bunch of more appointments in the next few weeks . . . the legalized torture test with the neurologist (I think) . . . to see the severity of the carpal tunnel . . . with the shock treatments . .. unless they goof and put it on my head and then I'll probably get my brain cured . .. who knows . . .one could hope!

Today I go back to the surgeon and MAYBE get a minor fill . . . he took out 1 cc when I had the reflex . . . don't want to get anywhere near that amount again . . . but maybe something . . . please!  :D

Im down 1 pound..better than nothing I suppose. Have a great day all!!

No weight to report because I still don't own a scale.  I think I am too scared to buy one.  I know I have gained even though my kids say I am losing.  I have been thinking and researching and I am really leaning towards getting a revision.  I really want a DS because of the ability to take NSAIDs again for my back and arthritis.  It also has the highest rate of keeping off the weight especially for the SMO which is what I started out as (and still feel that way today). 

Nothing planned today except for work (where I am at now) and then church tonight.  The band Alter'd is going to be there tonight.  My 16 year old is so excited to see them.  They are an alternative christian band and supposed to be very good.  I am definately going home and taking a nap at 1:30.  I am real tired this morning.  I am working on that first cup of coffee now.

Good morning Cali,
Well today I have finally lost some weight!! yeah!!
I am down 4 pounds.  My boss is coming to visit us in the field today-great joy (not)!.  We get no work done when she it there or have to discuss other maters.

Oh well better get going, the guys want to go to breakfast this morning.  Yesterday we went and I gave them my pancakes, they love I have had this surgery.  They get all the stuff I cannot eat.

Chris, hoe everything go alright at the Doc with the copal tunnel, I know how bad that hurts, was in the grocery business for almost 30 years.

On my way down to San Diego to put final touches on for the wedding, back home and then my boyfriend and I are going to LA and see Fiddler on the Roof, with my girlfriend and her daughter. Busy day.

Good Morning Lisa and Cali Friends!

Oh My....  I am up, up, up!!!  Do I dare tell???  lol  Chris don't hate me for making the numbers go up!!!  I am up 5 flippin' pounds!  Tha's what sitting at home, watching tv and munching will do along with not feeling that great....

I got my dressings off yesterday and it feels so much better! Has any body else had carpal tunnel release surgery?  Am I damaging it by typing????  I thought I should start stretching the muscles and start doing what I do so my had gets the strength back.  I hope thats ok.

Lisa, I'm glad to see you back too girl!  We've both been away for a while and have missed somethings I guess....  A lot happens on this board in a few months!  A lot of people missing that we are used to seeing here!  I guess that's life, people change and so do the boards!  lol

Congrats on your 1 year kiddo,, and I hope your back is feeling better soon.  I pray it's not kidney stones!!!

Hi there Jenni . . . sure hope your hands are doing better . . . as I embark on this path too . . .yuck!  How long are you off work for?  did you do both hands at the same time?  Let me know.

There is no problem with your numbers . . . I went up 7 lbs after my last unfill . . . and today when I went it, I was exactly the same as the day of the unfill . . .but let me tell you . . . I was up and managed to get back down.

Question . . . do you get headaches when you get a fill?  I'd ask everyone . . . but I think we're the only bandsters on here lol!

Hi Chris!  Thanks, and yes I am doing better.  I just had my right hand done.  The left is was nothing in comparison but will most likely be a while down the road...I will off for about a month and then I will go back on light duty, as it is workcomp.

he (the doc) cut the palm of my hand, almost to the wrist (he did the "open release")....he said I had a lot of fluid and inflammation.  It's a weird painful, pulling pain but getting better everyday! 

As far as headaches I don't think I've ever had one after a fill.  AND YES!!!  we need more California Bandsters!!!  Lol  I feel like Loley Worm sometimes!

Good Morning Cali Crew,

Chris you can put me down for 5lbs this week. YEAH. I am kind of surprised I lost this week. I have had a lot going on and have been very stressed, so I haven't been eating enough, and you do have to eat to lose. Oh well, I guess I will take what I get eh.
Today I am going to have my labs drawn, to see how they are. I would of had my 6 month check up also, but my surgeon is on vacation, so now I won't see him till September. Wow, vacation sounds good!!!. I am heading to the gym here in a bit, for a hard workout, hopefully that will clear my head a bit.  I hope everyone has a great day.
